FInancial Assistance
United Sports Academy Financial Assistance Program
United Sports Academy believes every athlete should have the opportunity to pursue their volleyball goals regardless of financial circumstances. Through the generosity of donors and the stewardship of our Board, limited financial assistance is available to families demonstrating financial need.
Financial assistance is intended to provide partial support and preserve opportunities for as many athletes as possible. Awards are based on demonstrated need, available funding, and a family's commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities associated with participation in Katy United Volleyball Club and The Woodlands United.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
• Try out and accept a team offer.
• Pay the Team Commitment Deposit and August 5 payment in full.
• Submit a completed Financial Assistance Application and required documentation by August 31.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Remain in good standing with United Sports Academy.
• Commit to fulfilling the responsibilities associated with receiving assistance.
Volunteer Commitment
Families receiving financial assistance are expected to give back to the club community through volunteer service. Recipients are required to complete 30 volunteer hours during the season.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
• Tournament operations
• Uniform fittings
• Clinics
• Equipment organization
• Other club activities
Thirty volunteer hours over the course of a 7–9 month season is very manageable and provides families with an opportunity to actively support the Katy United community.
